Ok so let's start out with the super and then move to the just good. Super 1. They have a varied menu 2. The options are incredible 3. Egg Rolls - wow 4. Hot and Sour Soup (wow wow wow) 5. Chinese Donuts, sinful Just Good 1. EVERYTHING ELSE Look my go to for Chinese is Hot and Sour Soup. Like Fish and Chips it is one of my favorites. It is also a dish that can easily be well made poorly. Peking hit the mark with fantastic hot and sour soup. They made our let's go again list with just the eggs rolls. So far, and that may change, Best Chinese we've found in Frederick!
I am generally very picky about Chinese food especially because my family owned an authentic Chinese restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised& continue to enjoy eating here. The food is consistent, there's a good mix of American style and Chinese style dishes. The food is tasty but not overly sauced or salted. The prices are excellent. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. The service is great- they are so kind. One thing to be aware of is that the chow mein does not have noodles in it. While tasty, it's mainly sautéed vegetables in a white sauce. There are no noodles. Our kids were thrilled to get the piggy dessert buns and they even treat you to a whipped strawberry cup and fortune cookie. We will continue to come here!
The service is fast, the food is good and well priced. Everything is very clean. Highly recommend...a step up from the normal Chinese takeout.
Peking Gourmet has the best Chinese food I have found in Frederick. The service has been professional, and certainly hospitable. Their fried rice is the best!!!
I was so happy to see dining service available again here. This is a very nice place and super clean and pleasant. The food is delicious and they will make it any way that you want. Crispy eggplant with a spicy sauce is a must-ask custom order. So good! Lunch was affordable at $10. Amazing.
